Steve Harvey Debuting a Line of Suits

NEW YORK - Steve Harvey (news) is no different from any other guy. He puts his pants on one leg at time. Now you can put on his pants — and his suit jacket, too.

The actor-comedian is coming out with his own line of suits. Harvey says the suits will look like they're worth $2,500, but will cost $300.


"A person can buy a suit for $300 and it looks like a tailored suit," Harvey told AP Radio. "My fan base can't afford $2,500 suits. A guy with a job can't suck out that much money, so I wanted to create the look and the fabric quality of a $2,500 suit. And you don't know how hard that was. It took almost four years of planning."


His fans will be familiar with the style of the suits.


"This is the exact same suits you've seen me wear for years on the Apollo and the TV show. It's the full pants, it's the longer coats. It's like a tailor-made suit except you can buy on the rack. It has all of the details and qualities of a tailor-made suit," Harvey said.


While Harvey enjoys acting and his clothing venture, they will never replace his career as an entertainer.


"I'll never give up stand-up. Stand-up is the basis. It's the thing I love to do. That's been the driving force behind anything else I've ever done," Harvey said.


The Steve Harvey Collection will be in stores next month.

This was a couple of years ago, after the Christie/Fox fight.

But, I'm glad you have come to terms with the fact that Shaq Daddy is a big ole fashion DON'T!!


Regarding the suits... I don't get it. I think they look tacky! Steve is always going on and on about how "clean and sharp he is." I don't get it...oh well! I always shake my head when he talks about how much his suits cost.

Yes, Sugar Shaq Diesel Daddy's a huge fashion DON'T. You would think that he had enough money not to wear faux Burberry, but money truly doesn't equal taste.:p

The reason why Fakeberry, Goach, Fucci, :rolleyes:etc., is still all over the Western world is because of famous people wearing it.
