alums allowed on GreekChat.com?
Hello! I just found GreekChat.com accidentally when I was doing a search for Tri Delta. I wanted to know if alums are allowed to post here? I'm a Tri Delta from The University of Texas @ Arlington (UTA), and my daughter is an A & M Tri Delta right now. My sister and her two daughters are also Tri Deltas from UTA (long legacy!).
Can someone tell me if it's okay for me to be involved in this forum? I wanted to post on the Life Loyal Tri Delta thread (just gave our daughter a Life Loyal Tri Delta membership for Christmas!), but I didn't want to be here if it's only for collegiates. I think if the chapters passed on info. about this forum, there would be more Deltas involved and who would post. Delta love, Sherry Burton Gleason Beta Epsilon 1971 (UTA) |
Sorry for crashing your thread, but yes, alumnae are welcome on GreekChat!! I'm an alum, and you'll find quite a few others. In fact, there's a forum dedicated to Alumnae Issues - but feel free to hang out anywhere!
Enjoy, and Welcome to GreekChat! |
alums here
Thank you so much for the quick reply. I wish I'd have known about this site earlier. It's great to see that alums are allowed here. I do enjoy seeing what the colleges are doing, so subscribing to an alum only site wouldn't probably interest me as much, but I'll check it out just in case. Thanks for helping me. :)

Of course you are welcome here!!!
Let me be the first to extend a Tri Delta hello!!!! I'm from the Gamma Omega chapter in New Jersey. I went to the Recruitment Boot Camp at UTA this past summer, and the house they were building was gorgeous!! At that moment, I began to wish we had a house. There are a few of us Tri Delts on the board, and we always are longing for more!! Hope you enjoy Greek Chat!:D Delta Love, CARA |
thanks for the welcome
Cara, I appreciate the welcome. When I attended UTA, we didn't have houses. One of my nieces did live in the old house while she was at UTA, but she's since graduted.
I've seen pics of the new place, but I haven't been to Arlington lately. I have a former student who is an active now at UTA (she occasionally posts to this chat forum), and she's offered to give me a tour in the next few weeks. Sounds fun! The Executive Office moved to Arlington the year I pledged. We had our pledge and general meetings at the EO, and that was a thrilling thing. It has moved now to its current place, but when it was first in Arlington, it was in an area near Six Flags over Texas. I'm so happy to have found this forum, and I'll be posting regularly. I'm a Tri Delta alum! I'm from Alpha Alpha at Adelphi, now in the Long Island Alum Chapter. I graduated in 2002. Hi and welcome!

Just another Tridelt and wanted to welcome to Greek Chat! I am also an alum from our Theta Pi, UCLA chapter!

Sorry to crash, but not only are Alims but PNM (like me) and even GDI's are allowed.
This is for every one who has questions or wants to talk about Greek life. Welcome to GC. |
