Just need to get this off of my chest!!!
Ok...
|
Get out of Middle Tennessee, it's like Southeast Arkansas....nothin' but 'necks.
|
Seriosuly . . when I saw Tennessee . . I realized that explained it lol. Too much inbreeding.
|
LOL. :)

People like that make my blood boil. I'm so sorry that happened to you, Tippy!
Since I guess you can't do anything about the Clampetts, please, please, please try and do something about the dog. I felt sick when I read about the poor thing. I don't know if you can or want to take the dog as a pet, but please at least call Animal Control to pick it up. The poor, helpless thing at least deserves to be safe and fed. |
Doesn't Animal control just execute the animals after a certain amount of time?
|
Regarding the dog - I hope you can get it a new home soon. In the meantime if you have a video camera maybe make sure the date/time stamp is on and then video tape the family if they do it again.
Regarding the family - check your city laws to see if they have anything about getting the family or property declared a nuisance. Or if the yard is filthy, etc check the laws to see if the city can give them a citation that it needs to be cleaned up. |
yeah, what she said. That's what we do here and it works on the Clampett wannabe's.
|
One of my good friends is an alderman. So, I am going to be checking with him. It will be a fight, though.
There are just a small group of families that run this county. Mine is one, my husbands is another, and the property owners are another. If it gets to the city council, it will be a real struggle. So, we're hoping the neighbors will just get fed up with the small town politics and leave. |
Ok this is setting up like a bad movie lol . . . Ruling families . . . small county . . . rebelious Clampits . . unfortunately the movies usually portray the small rbelious individualistic family as the hero's pit against an uptight aristocracy of privelage and snobbery :)_
Tell us how it ends :) (James has been writing screenplays too much) |
James, I promise to keep you updated. You can have first rights to the story when it concludes. lol ;)
|
I just wanted to say that I think you're awesome for looking out for the dog. I hope he finds a loving home.
|
Thank you. That's really sweet of you to say.

I agree. The white trash people who live next to my mom had a cat that they would not take care of and just let it wander the streets. One time it cut its paw and it got infected and was limping. I cried when it limped to our door. The poor thing would get on our porch and cry. So i took it to the vet to get the paw taken care of($30 the vet was a friend and only charged for the medication after I told her what happened) and eventually the cat disappeared. I was so sad, but I am sure it "fathered" the kitty I have now. (Uh, I owned the momma cat, and my cat now-kricket-looks a lot like the daddy cat-and she is beautiful!!!!)
Ok-thats my story. I am really glad you are looking out for that dog!! |
