What are the MOST memorable thing(s) that took place in your life in 2003?

*The MOST memorable thing that is taking place in my life for 2003-2004 is partcipating in the Fashionetta Cotllion. Although, activites continue until May 23,2004 (THE BIG NIGHT)...it is an AWESOME experience. I am learning a lot about what to expect in college and in the world. I thank God for opening this door of opportunity for me :D

Girl I hated "Fashionetta", my mother was Ms. Fashinetta and I hated the whole experience I thought it was a big ball of wasted money. Me and my escort got into big time, the pics were nice though. We laugh about it all the time, but now that I am older it was a great experince to value and take into college. It cemented my desire to be an AKA.

Hmm 2003, well I got married so that had to be the big thing by far!

Graduating from college finally.
Losing one of my best friends for a while and havin her back in my life again.:D

*I like that name,especially the middle name...that is my middle name :D I guess no one really had any memorable moments in 2003 :confused:

The year 2003 brought me:

A promotion at work!
Kendell Marie My heart and soul!
A new outlook on life

Graduated from college...finally!
Got a job that I needed.
Became a Soror of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.:D
Met the man of my dreams:)

2003 was a VERY good year! Praise God!

Graduated from undergrad!
Started law school!

January......Became a member of the worlds BEST Sorority; Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated; celebrated my 1st Founder's Day :D

February...Was laid off from my job of 2 years :eek:

March.....Obtained a new position; son turned 3 :)

April....attended my 1st NARC :D

September.....Lost my father-in-law very suddenly :(

November...Elected Historian of my Chapter :)

December......Spent New Year's Eve at watchnight services with my family PRAISING GOD for the many, many blessings HE provided through the year. :D

*moved to Nashville
*finished my first semester at Fisk:D

A good idea!
 

1) Did a lot traveling!

2) Gained a lot of valuable leadership experience via student groups while in law school!

3) Graduated Law School (thank you Jesus!) :D

4) Took the Bar exam:mad:

5) Spent a nice longggggg while in the beautiful island of Jamaica :cool:

6) Got great family stories from my 80+ year old grandmother :)

7) PASSED THE BAR EXAM!!!!:D

8) Got sworn in (praise God!) :D

9) Got a job...well more than a job... a really a GREAT JOB! :D

10) Finished my 1st semester in my new grad program!

11) TBA;)

~2003 REALLLLYYYY ended on a HIGH note!

Can't wait to see how 2004 unfolds! God is good!

I got married in 2003!! :D :D

I was saved from death in a serious car accident!! :D

The most memorable thing that happened to me during 2003 happened 24 days before the year ended when, on December 7, 2003, I became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated!!! :)

Other memorable things that happened:
I received a score on the ethics part of the state bar exam that was high enough to pass in any state in the union
I passed the Patent Bar exam and am now registered to practice patent prosecution as a patent agent before the United States Patent and Trademark Office even though I don't even graduate from law school until June 2004 :)
I met my male friend
My sister and I went on our first vacation together

My travel to Ethiopia definitely tops the list. Second to that is my evolving relationship with my good manfriend. Third would be challenging my religious beliefs and starting a new spiritual journey. All in all, 2003 was a GREAT year!
