Can you give us some more info?
How many women are in your chapter? How many PNM's are you expecting? How many rounds are there? Is it "no-frills"? How many chapters are there? FR is very different from school to school, so the more details you provide, the more useful help you will get. |
our chapter has 20 girls adn honestly all i really need now are philanthropy ideas and phi mu songs and any cute ideas any of you would have??. We have 6 sororities and there are four rounds. Round 1 is a general round, round 2 is philanthropy, round 3 is sistehood and round 4 is preference night. the sororities numbers are rather lowere htis year and panhel has been promoting all the sororities more so we have no clue how many pnms are going to be coming out. Also i was wondering if any of you girls have any ideas for round three for sisterhood. At htis one we will be showing a slideshow and stuff adn i have some otehr ideas but do any ofyou have any good ideas. thanks

If you're aiming for a more solemn night, try a slide show of funny and 'serious' pictures. When I went through Recruitment, this is what Phi Mu did, and then at the end of the night, we all got in a huge circle while the members sang "Pass It On" and lit candles from each others' flame. Very touching, but mainly for sentmental saps like me. ;) |
Hey There! I can send you some songs and such! We have a few that we use. I think my chapter is great with formal recruitment. Also, your chapter isn't too far away from mine. I'm looking to get together with the chapters in PA. IM me or email me if you're interested!

One thing that has very successful for us on Preference night is having a few sisters stand up (one by one) and tell the PNMs how Phi Mu has changed their life or been something special for them. The stories need to be sincere and heartfelt. Make the PNMs REALLY FEEL how strong the sisterhood and bond is- it has a huge impact.
Best wishes to you and your chapter! Love in our bond :) |
