Jury Spares Malvo's Life in Sniper Killing
This just in....
CHESAPEAKE, Va. - The jury in the Washington sniper case Tuesday spared Lee Boyd Malvo from the fate awaiting his mentor John Allen Muhammad — the death penalty — after his lawyers portrayed him as an impressionable boy who had fallen under Muhammad's murderous spell. Malvo, 18, will be instead be locked away for the rest of his life. |
Good. Now put him to work. The government has a budget crisis - why not solve it through cheap prison labor.

Well, it's easy to say I'd have gone for the death penalty, but I was not on the jury and don't have all the facts or circumstances... but...

Mohammed, yes, deserves the death penalty. While Malvo's crimes were just as heinous, i think he should have to live the rest of his life with the guilt of them hanging over him. Good call on the jury's part. Kitso KS 361 |

Don't forget that Maryland and DC are looking to fry him as well... and they are considering putting him on trial there. Double jeopardy doesn't count in this case.
