Eh? I have never heard of such a thing! I'm with you - as Little Orphan Annie once said, "When you gotta go, you gotta go."

My, I wonder what those ladies do on long overseas flights..... :o

I've def heard of this...in fact I know ppl that do this/have done this!!

winnieb 12-23-2003 03:25 AM

Ok, I will be the first to admit it-- I am on this list. Several others in my family also feel the same way I do.
I just hate public bathrooms in general, they stink, they are dirty, etc...

Wellaraummmmm.........!!!!!
When I have to go I go but I make sure 1st and foremost that the B room that's being used is clean......I'm not sitting my a$$ on a nasty toilet......if it's nasty I close shop and relocate to cleaner B room...........::eek:

I think I speak for all guys on this...

But I can drop a$$ just about ANYWHERE.

Mall, gas station, campus, work,

I think its a guy thing. That, or that its from living in a dorm with communal bathrooms, and living in the chapter house where I lost all sense of personal space and boundaries.

I can never be bashful ever again.

I'll agree with life.

I HAD an issue with it when i was in MS and HS. Like, i NEVER dropped a$$ in the bathrooms at HS. After i went off to A&M and lived in the dorms with a communal bathroom i had to learn to get over my shyness real quick. Especially since i was a "fish" in the Corps of Cadets and had to use my bathroom time to the utmost efficiency.

Now, i'll drop bombs over baghdad pretty much anywhere.

LOL

I have no problem with it but one of my husbands friends will not take a dump anywhere in public. It kind of sucks when we're out with him and we have to leave right NOW! One time I just gave him the keys to my car and said see ya later.

my brother won't poop at school! Anywhere else, it doesn't matter.

DG515 12-23-2003 12:12 PM

maybe 2,000 flushes (or whatever it's called) should do an official study :-) This is interesting............i mean, i have some standards too, but usually if i have to go, anythings good enough ::laughs:: Maybe it has to do with all the time i spent travelling and the summer i spent at camp with latrines :-D

My husband used to be a camp counselor for FCA and he says that they had camps at several colleges where the boys' bathrooms had 4 toilets facing each other. No stalls, no dividers. How can guys just GO facing each other?

ROFL at this thread!!!

I'm pretty shy about the whole thing but have learned that when nature calls, you gotta answer.

My college boyfriend went to Columbia U. and lived in a co-ed dorm. With co-ed bathrooms!!! Now, to you freethinking Ivy Leaguers out there I'm sure this is no big deal. But I just about died when I was in a stall doing my business and I heard two of my boyfriend's fraternity brothers come in and take the stalls on either side of me and....well, do their thing.

I finished up as fast as I could and fled (first pausing to wash my hands, of course! :) ) so that they wouldn't emerge from their stalls knowing I was there!

First time I did the deed outside of my home was when I was 18. Even now I'm still picky, it has to be a certain bathroom, certain stall, no one else present...usually at school, no other public place.

I think it's a gender thing too. Not just with the pickiness of the location, but how much time you spend. My male relatives spend like a hour on the commode. Either you shit or get off the pot!

Ginger 12-23-2003 01:44 PM

Indeed, timing is everything!

I believe if nature calls, you must answer... but that doesn't mean you don't have to be picky!

I'll always try to wait until there's no one in the bathroom... or if there is, I will try to time things so that we don't see one another while washing hands, etc.

Co-ed bathrooms... EEK!

lol... looks like I just posted almost the exact same thing Dionysus did... oops :)

Generally I am so glad there is a bathroom available that i use it lol . . .

Is there any worse feeling in the world than having to go he bathroom BAD and none to be found anywhere? Think stomache problems lol

It just seems like storing up bad karma to pass up an available toilet.

This being said, I know girls that will not use the bathrooms of guys they are dating for number two as you guys have put it lol . .. now that is strange isn't it?
