Plastic covered Furniture?
You walk into someone's house and you see all the furniture covered with plastic . . .
Isn't that scary? Every time I see that the theme to the twilight zone comes on in my head. Spooky. Whats wrong with these people? Anyone else run into these oddballs? Its like: Take your medication and you won't have to put plastic coverings on everything. |
I think that a lot of these people also have the plastic bobbing Virgin Mary's on the dashboard of their cars.

FUNNY! My Great Aunt (Who had a daughter my age) covered EVERYTHING in plastic...couches-lamps-headboards. She had a theatre type, velvet "whatchmacallit" to keep us out of her formal living room because she had white carpet.
Her reasons were that my cousin had asthma, but the only time she had an attack was when the house needed to be cleaned. She didn't really have asthma. This I know for a fact. Just knew how to work it!;) |
I hate when people have furniture in a room and you're not allowed in the room. I call it the "Do Not Disturb" room. Why spend all that money on furniture if you're not going to let anyone even look at it?

My granny always left the plastic covering on her lamp shades.

Never knew folks like this existed... well I always assumed they did. Wow!
I couldn't imagine. Furniture is bought to look good and to be used, right? |
I have friends who have whole rooms they never go in. What's the point of having a 4500 sq ft house if you only use 2500 sq ft?
