Social Gatherings
 

I have read the earlier threads on ideas for socials; however, I am looking for something we can do anytime. Currently we have all of the holidays taken and need something we can do any night of the week...
Anyone have a great idea?

I have so many ideas!
 

1. an ABC social - everyone dresses according to a specific letter - example pledge class 1 and there dates dress to the letter C- cheerleaders, captain crunch, cookie monster, etc.

anything you can think of give each pledge class a different letter.

2. Grab a date- inform all your sisters at the last moment that there is a social and they have one hour to grab a date and meet at a specific location

3. Kidnapping social - pick a sister from each pledge class and have them kidnap x amount of girls. the kidnappers dress each member of the group how they want - the kidnappers can choose a theme or color or just dress them as crazy as possible have the fraternity do the same

4. Anything but a cup - tell them they have to bring anything but a cup to the social

5. Cops and Robbers - dress is self explanitory. make up rules - if your a robber you have to enter through the back door/window. if your a cop you can put robbers in the jail and post bond as something funy they have to do like sing a song... have fun with it.

6. Sex in the City - have everyone dress up as sex in the city characters

7. Celebrity couples - brad n jen, J.lo an Ben, etc

8. Powder puff - partner with a fraternity and swap outfits - it can be sports related, uniform related, dress clothes, basically anything you can think up not just cheerleaders and football players.

9. Heaven or hell social - let everyone decide for themselves the meaning (within reason of course)

10. Hawiian luau - self explanatory

11. Mobsters n Mistresses

12. GO GREEK PARTY: Decorate room with Romanesque pillars made from cardboard and construction paper. Everyone dresses in togas and enjoys grape juice, punch and spritzers.

13. SOLICITOR'S BALL: Theme party in which guests dress as men and ladies of the evening. Costumes can be outrageous or discreet. Serve non-alcoholic punch, hors d'oeuvres and dance to the music of a "funky" band.

14. SOUTH OF THE BORDER PARTY: Serve tacos and other Mexican food. Break out the cowboy hats, sombreros and boots for this popular theme party. Decorate with piñatas, etc.

wow..those were great ideas. we had crus hparties too...im sure you know about those already. but those are fun..they are kinda like grab a date..they are last minute. the guys ahve to figure out who "crushed" them. good for valentines coming up in feb...thast all i got for today..too tired to think.
