Poll: Who Still Owes You Money?
Who still owes you money from years and years ago? How much is it? Do you still want it back?
I loaned a girl named Sonna or Sonya (I can't even remember) $10 in 1998. I don't even remember what it was for but I could dayum sure use that today. My boyfriend owes me $50 because he bet me that Kindergarten was spelled with two D's. This was almost three years ago and I could use that money too. |
These TOXIC people who I dropped from my live in 2002.
Do I want it back...HELLLLLLLL NAWWWWWWWW! They can KMA! |
Cliff ~ In 1998 I gave him $60 to pay his rent  plus took him grocery shopping, plus bought him a lot of Omega stuff for his anniversary. In 2000 he gave me a partial payment of $30. I used to see him in church and some days he used to make it hard to have a joyful noise in my heart. All he had to do was pay me back and buy my DST jacket that he claimed he ordered. I still don't like that lazy eyed, _____ ______ ;) jackazz. . .

My first love Torrick owes me money from about 4-5 years ago. I loaned him money (about $75) to pay his rent because he was behind. He swore up and down that he was gonna pay me back! Two weeks later, I come over to his house to get my $$ on his payday ('cause I knew ALL of his paydays!) and he's gone!! Moved out and everything!! Left me a funky little note that he was gonna get in touch with me!! Ain't seen or heard from him since!!
I talked to my soror (his sister) a while back and she wanted to know if I knew where he was b/c he owed her $$ too!! I told her that I didn't know where her $$-owing brother was but that I would try to look for him using one of those people searches. I don't really know if I want it back or not. I kinda just wanna cuss him out. I found out recently that he lives in Montgomery, AL. Perhaps if I dug a little deeper, I can get an address and phone #. Maybe I might be able to get my $75. What would that be with interest? :D |
Show Me the Money!!!!
My friend HECTOR owes my a few Benjamins...about $1500 to be exact!!!! I've loaned him money for the course of our friendship. You know...to make a car payment, pay rent, traffic tickets, pay his chapter dues.....the list goes on!!!! Everytime he borrows form me I have him sign a contract stating that he will pay me back...but silly me, I have yet to put a date for the pay-back. I DON'T loan him anymore money...I'd be a fool to do so (well, I'm already a fool for letting the total get to $1500!!!!). And you know he had the nerve to ask me to loan him $300 to pay for some Christmas Gifts that he got on lay-away (and he told me that one of them is mine...unbelieveable!!!!!!!!).

Detone. We were friends for like 3 years, in college I mean I NEVER loan money but I mean when I was sick in bed with the flu he bought me thera flu drove across town came and got my son and let me sleep, thats the type of close friends we were. I let him borrow $200 for like a week, then all the sudden he said he put it on my door. I swear give me a break, I would have never in a thousand years ever thought he would have been the flake, but hey life lesson. Learned.

Anyone that owes me money has already been cut out of my life. I no longer "lend" money-if I can't afford to just give it to you I pass and say I don't have it. |
Chandra (from Flint, in Atlanta)
I gave her money to make sure her phone didn't get turned off after she didn't pay the bill for several months and apparently she owed much more than I gave her because it got turned off anyway. I accompanied her to the mall to shop several weeks after she borrowed the money and it didn't cross her mind to pay me back. In addition, I let her spend the night at my house when she thought the repo man was going to come to her apartment and get her car. I helped her move out of her apartment (later finding out that she was "leaving" before she got evicted because she didn't pay the rent) and I helped her boyfriend (now husband) move his things when he had a deadbeat for a roommate and had to get out of his apartment immediately; now that I think about it, he may have been the deadbeat and may have skipped out on his roommate. Hmph, I have a picture of her and was going to post it, but I think that the name (maiden and married) is enough.

A girl I went to school with had a GORGEOUS apartment, w/ hardwood floors in a nice area, her parents got her a car, etc...... well, she never had any cash when we went to eat. "oh I forgot to go to the ATM" should have been here theme song!
Anyway, I probably shelled out $40 bucks for food when we were studying b4 I wised up that she never had cash as long as someone else could foot the bill. This irks me more than some other people, just b/c I know her parents were sending her money every month and she was just being ceap! It's been about 3 years and I never expect to see that cash again. |

Miss Maria
While in college it was a group of us who used to always go out to eat at BW3's on Tuesday nights. Well out of all of us (7 total) Maria was the only one who didn't have a job. But we all felt sorry for her because our parents would send us money, but her parents never did. We would loan her money for food, supplies, money for parties or clubs, etc. Never once did she pay ANY of us back. The last straw was when we tried to hook her up with a work study job and she refused to take it because she didn't want to work in the mail room.
After that, none of us gave her a dime. She would go to BW3s and just sit and watch us eat, hoping we would give her money. But nope, none of us did. When we would get dressed to go out to a party or to the club, she would sit in our room looking all pitiful. She would say stuff like, "I wish I could go with you guys, but I don't have any money," or she would come at us like, "yall have fun without me." When that didn't work, she would tell us how she "heard" that the party wasn't going to be jumpin or nobody was going to the club. We just smiled at her and peaced her out........ Was that wrong? LOL  |
