Board Crasher!
Hey y'all,
I was just wondering if anyone could answer my questions about your organization and how to start one up? My current campus (University of Wisconsin- Madison) does not have a chapter...but the first campus I attended my freshman year (UWEC) did have a very active and involved group that I was considering joining untill I transfered. So I'm going to grow some cajones and get my friends together and hopefully re-open the inactive chapter here (Beta Theta, I believe)! Help, Comments, Warnings, Encouragements,etc...would be very much appreciated. :D |
In terms of the "how".....visit the national website at www.apo.org.
Otherwise.....good luck! The process to re-charter a chapter is detailed and challenging, but fair. |

how to restart
You may also want to email the Region IX Director, Erica Roberts, and she can help you with the extension process! Her email is region.9.director@apo.org.

U of Wisconsin
There is a small group trying to start U of Wisc. I don't know how far they've gotten right now. Check out http://www.sit.wisc.edu/~apo/ as well, that has links to some names and their email addresses. Like Jamie said, send to region.9.director@apo.org, Erica would know exactly how far they've gotten and if the web site is up to date.
U of Wisconsin-Madison will definately be a great place to have a chapter! YiLFS Randy Finder |

Thanks so much Randy! Our student org page is usually behind/ unavailable so I must of missed the group. Thanks again. |
Any word about how the rechartering is going?

Current Status of UWisc-Madison
They are a Petitioning Group and have been sent the Charter Application Kit. If the are on the ball when they get back in the fall, they might be able to recharter by the end of the calender year, if not, probably early spring '05.
