Toronto DU's get rude awakening

Hey just saw this in the paper:

Thankfully no one received a life threatening injury. I couldn't imagine waking up to the sound of a crash. That would be sort of scary. I sincerely hope that the house is able to be repaired, since it's been around for so long.

From what I saw in the picture it was only the stone porch that recieved any damage...... hopefully it can be repaired, and hopefully insurance will fully cover it. The only problem is that it'll be hard to find someone that can replace it (it was pretty damn big - 2 stories of solid stone). All the stones in the left of the picture are from just a corner of the porch, and you can see part of the porches roof in the upper left. To be honest I'm shocked the van could actually knock it down.

I'd also like to know how close he came to hitting the Zeta Psi house, because the picture looks like it was taken from the Zeta Psi's front lawn.

I'll know tomorrow after my darts, when I get a chance to talk to some of the Zeta Psi's and DUs.

PS> the paper is close to a tabloid up here in Canada, so they like to sensationalize a little.... so instead of reporting it was the day after a Christmas Dinner (and okay a after-party), they have to spin it to fit the "Animal House" image they are so fond of reporting.

Actaully the article wasn't all that bad compared to some that have been written before in the papers..... but the bias and spin will always be there.
