Need an advise from the Bay Area people
 

So I've decided to go for my PhD at Berkeley. Question is, where is a good neighborhood to live that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Also, how is living in Berkeley, like how is the living cost there?

I don't live there, but how exciting that you're coming back to the States! As for cost of living, I know enough to say that it cuesta mucho .
