9/10! Missed #6! I love the question, "Did you diagram sentences in your spare time?"

Well, not in my spare time, but in high school, that was my favorite part of English class. When we started in on Literature, my grades took a nosedive.

Do you diagram sentences in your spare time? You got 8/10 correct.

The answer is hell no.

Intense1920 12-13-2003 04:03 PM

Woo hoo got 8/10. I really thought I was going to do worse than that. :D

Sahara 12-14-2003 02:51 PM

I got 9/10 correct! I used to liked diagraming sentences in class, too.

I got #4 wrong. I wanted to pick 'lay', but I kept remembering my teacher saying 'you lie' and 'you lay a thing' (our little bad a$$es would laugh and say 'you lay a person').

CrimsonAngel2001 12-14-2003 10:22 PM

I got a 10/10 I'm sure my english profs would be very happy lol

Nice work!

Answer: Same as Dionysis'. Although I will state that I always had a knack for grammar...

I missed numbers 3 and 6.

delph998 12-15-2003 05:33 PM

I got 7/10 and I know grammar, okay! There were a couple that issues with, the lay/lie one, and two more. Boo hiss Del!

ShiningStar83 12-15-2003 10:12 PM

I got them all right (guess it's the English major in me) but it said I got 9/10. I scrolled down to see which one I missed, but all of the said correct. Oh, well

nikki1920 12-16-2003 11:34 AM

I got 7/10. :( And I was good in English. (I've NEVER diagrammed a sentence!)

Kimmie1913 12-16-2003 12:15 PM

8/10. And a little ticked about it.

ClassyLady 12-17-2003 11:35 PM

9 out of 10 correct. The only one that I missed was the lay vs. laid question. GMAT test prep definitely has my sentence correction skills on point.

Wonderful1908 12-18-2003 12:47 AM

7/10, I never really liked grammar! Yuck, as long as my paycheck continues to have my name spelled correctly I will be okay.:p :p

Gyrl7 12-18-2003 10:54 AM

I got an 80 :D 8/10.

Missam05 12-18-2003 03:27 PM
