Fraternal relations ;)
 

Hey everyone! I am so excited because I was just recently appointed to Fraternal Relations Chair (i.e. swaps chair). Anyways....one of the aspects of our chapter that really needs some help with is our fraternal relations. Anybody have ideas? I was going to propose to our intramurals chairs that we have co-ed intramurals teams with fraternities that we don't typically swap with so we can meet new guys. Also, since officer transition is in February, I was thinking that one of my first activities as a new officer would be making valentines for each chapter, like one huge valentine signed by the sisters for each fraternity. We generally associate with the same 2 fraternities and want to change that...How should we go about trying to make our presence known with fraternities that don't know many of our sisters? I would love to know what other sororities have done and I'd love to hear from the fraternity men what you all like...

hmm..... i'm not sure if you're events could be alcohol related... b/c we mixed with some fraternities and sports teams where we didn't know anyone- we would do marraige mixers- beer pong tournys or the best one i can think of is a graffiti mixer- where everyone wears white t-shirts (girls- cut them up cute!) and pass out sharpie markers and highlighters- it feel weird at first- but once everyone starts drinking- everyone starts writing all over each other- its sooo much fun- everyone still has their t-shirts and then each person you write on has a story to tell- and when you see them out the next time- you know them... as far as... non alcohol related... hmm i would definately set up sports teams- a guy/girl combo or something.... hmmm maybe set up a board game night where the games have teams and their is a mix of guys/girls- make sure the girls know to mingle and try hard at it- guys are stupid sometimes :rolleyes: lol- good luck!! and have fun!
