Greek Slogans

So we are using the "Go Greek" slogan, which we have used for a while and it is kinda old and doesn't work. Does anyone know of any other slogans that has worked for you ?

AGDGirl 12-08-2003 09:52 PM

Don't be a GEEK go GREEK

imsohappythatiama 12-08-2003 10:11 PM

The only other one I've heard used is, "No matter the letter, we're all greek together."

But that's kind of tired, like the "Go Greek" slogan.

Time to come up with some new ones, like:

* It's Chic to be Greek

* Don't Be a Freak, Go Greek (not good for PR)

* Be a Greek or Be a Geek (too negative)

* Recruitment: One Short Week for a Lifetime of Greek

* Be Greek and Be Unique

* Sneek a Peek This Week, and Go Greek!

...tee hee! I'm out of words that rhyme with Greek, and that I can make any sense of with regard to Recruitment. :)

When I was on Panhel Exec, the slogan for Recruitment was: Letters Today, Leaders Tomorrow

The next year it was Greek: Try it, Live it, Love it.

Last year it was Living the Legacy

I'm not sure what it was this year!

Here is another one that has a word that rhymes with "Greek":

Find what you seek, go Greek

How about:

Sisterhood is really good, go Greek

Join our big phat [is that word even used anymore?] Greek community

I've had a busy day, and I tend to be corny anyway, so don't laugh too hard! ;)

Here's another one: Go Greek and find out what all those funny letters really mean

Okay, now I'm just being silly! :p

Our recruitment slogans were:

Spring '00: Eight Reasons to Go Greek (each sorority presented on the benefits of one reason that was assigned to them)

Spring '01: I missed this one since I was studying overseas in England

Spring '02: Add A Chapter to Your Life

Spring '03 (as an alumna helper): No matter where you go, you're still going places

PolarPi's post reminded me of another one:

Oh the places you'll go a spin off the Dr. Seuss book

This years slogan at ASU was: Go Greek....it's not four years, its for life!!!

Last years rush theme at USC was Catch The Wave...there was no go greek slogan or anything

Since I've been at Georgia Tech, our Panhellenic Go Greek Themes have been:

2001: Top 6 reasons to go greek (with the chapter names)
2002: Dr. Suess take off that said "I'm Greek, She's Greek, We're Greek, Go Greek" With little characters next to each one
2003: bright pink shirts that on the front said "We may stand out" then on the back it read "But we'll never stand alone, GO GREEK"
The last one was definately my favorite, but some people didn't like the fact that they were pink, but you have to have a bright color for a shirt like that ;)

Be a Goddess... Go Greek! Has always been my favorite, but no one ever uses it... :(

Canadian AOII 12-11-2003 12:22 PM

during rush week, our recruitment counselors wore shirts that said "Some things are worth the wait, but some things are worth the RUSH!"
