Computer game experts - I need boyfriend gift advice

Ok.....so my boyfriend likes to play computer games and I was thinking of getting him a new one for Christmas or his birthday in February. Two of his favourite games are Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Medal of Honor Allied Assault.

With Wolfenstein he seems to prefer playing multiplayer online. I was just wondering which games are a part of the Wolfenstein series. From what I understand, there was a Wolfenstein game and then Return to Castle Wolfenstein was released later. Are there any others?

What's this "Enemy Territory" one I read about? Is that the free multiplayer module? In other words, is Enemy Territory the online game and RtCW the desktop game? I was under the impression that he needed to have the RtCW in order to play the muliplayer online games.

Obvisouly, my bf likes the WWII themed games as he also has Medal of Honor Allied Assault. He's already completed this game twice! I saw in the store that there are two expansion packs. One is called MoHAA:Breakthrough and the other is MoHAA:Spearhead. Are either of these two any good?

Oh yes, and I think he also has Splinter Cell. However, I've only heard about it referred to as a video game for Playstation and the like and I could have sworn he had it for the PC. Am I totally missing something? I think there is a new update for that coming up too.

So can anyone help? I want to win cool girlfriend points!

Thanks!

.....Kelly :)

He seems to like first-person shooters.......hhhhmmmm

Hlikes Medal of Honor right? There is a new one either already out or coming soon MOH Rising Sun*
*My BF drooled all over the coffe table when he saw the commercial for the game.

You might even check
X-play on Tech TV

They have great reviews on games for PC and all the consoles. I got some really great gift ideas from there.

If worse comes to worse you can always go to Best Buy or Babbages or any other gaming store and ask for a suggestion.

Hope that helps!!!

Call of Duty is another great WWII FPS. There's also Halo for the PC.

Yeah? I hadn't heard about that; I'll keep a look out for it!

ehehehe...I've done that before; but, even though I say it's for my boyfriend, I always seem to get the "Wey hey! Are you trying to pick me up?" look.

heh. :)

Thanks!

Medal of Honor Rising Sun isn't that great. It's exactly like the last version, except based in the Pacific. The best WWII FPS going right now for PC is Call of Duty.
