Do you all watch "The Hughleys"?
 

I just got off the phone with my sister and we were discussing (gossiping SP?) various situations...

She asked me if I watched DL's show..."NO", I replied. But anyway, for those who do, have you all noticed anything strange looking about John Henton (Overton)? She says he looks ill...

Has anyone heard anything?

I guess I will be tuning in Monday night...

Actually I watched last night. He really looks the same to me, just a bit slimmer. The show isn't great at all, I just hate to see another black sitcom bite the dust...

I thought it was just me but something does look strange about John Henton. He looks slimmer and he doesn't look as well as he did on Living Single. He looks like he's not as energetic...even though he talks about as slow as he did on Living Single http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif To me it looks like he's either been sick or is sick right now. I agree, the show isn't all that great but I have my television on at that time because I'm waiting for Girlfriends.

I remember a few months ago I heard on one of the radio stations here in NYC that he was in a bad car accident. Maybe he's still recuperating from that.

I heard the same thing, that he had been involved in a bad car accident. He does not look well. And if you have noticed, he does not stand for a long period of time either. Most of the time on the show, he is sitting, which I found to be strange b/c it was not that way before. I hope he begins to feel better, he's a great guy.

I saw him in an interview with Entertainment Tonight and he did, indeed, have a really bad car accident. He said that he had a metal plate in his head. He broke down crying because he said that he was so blessed to be alive. I think that he is a really good guy.

I too saw the show tonight and he did look really thin.
