new dst chapters
 

i would like to see a dst chapter on nyu's campus (were going to pretend that such campus exists). what are the chances of this happening, considering there is one at columbia u, and a citywide chapter? i dont have a big problem trying to join (pledging isnt the right term, i guess i mean "rushing") at another college, but at the same time, it would be nice to rush with people at my own school.

any opinions?

i have read "the torch to guide you" already. i am not inquiring about membership. i did not ask, "how do i become a delta?"

so where does that leave me? greeks are quiet about these things (within good reason) and the chapter website hasnt given me the information i am looking for. seems like anything i could do to get firsthand information in wrong for x, y and z reasons.

or perhaps the point is just going blindly into this.

The information you seek was given to you on the national site--the email addresses of the regional director and regional rep of the Eastern Region. Contact them with your request.

BTW, because you have to become a Delta first to establish a chapter, your question is in fact related to memberhip intake.
