Texas McDonald’s customer ran over manager in parking lot

HOUSTON, Dec. 4 — A Texas woman was sentenced to 10 years in jail Thursday for running over the manager of a McDonald’s with her car because she wanted mayonnaise on her cheeseburger.

THE WOMAN, Waynetta Nolan, 37, showed no emotion as the sentence was read in court after a trial in which the McDonald’s manager, Sherry Jenkins, said that even though she gave Nolan the mayonnaise she requested, the woman flew into a rage anyway.
“I gave her everything she asked for — mayonnaise, no mustard, onions — everything I could possibly do for this lady. Mayo, mayo, mayo, and it’s still not good enough,” Jenkins told reporters outside the courtroom.
Nolan, who was convicted of aggravated assault for the April 23 incident, became so angry when a McDonald’s employee told her that she could not get mayonnaise that she threw her cheeseburger into the drive-through window, witnesses said.
Jenkins tried to placate her by offering a cheeseburger with mayonnaise, but Nolan continued to make demands until Jenkins finally called police.
When she went outside to write down Nolan’s license plate number, Nolan ran her over, breaking her pelvis.
Nolan testified that she was putting ketchup on her cheeseburger when she accidentally struck Jenkins.

Well I guess it's true what they say........a sandwich just isnt a sandwich without MIRACLE WHIP.

They should force feed that chic 5 pounds of mayo along with the 10 years in prison. Some customers are never happy even if you get more that u are complaining for.

That woman does have some real serious issues! Not only issues, but also lacks common sense. She should have parked her car before putting the ketchup on her burger, if that was the case. I personally think what did was deliberate. I hope her sentence will include anger management and therapy.

Just for wanting mayo on a hamburger, she should do serious jail time.

Mayo on McDonalds hamburgers is just nasty anyhow... I hate how the mayo intermingles with the water on the veggies and makes that greasey slimey stuff that drips on things..

If this woman was jailed for running over the manager she'd probably be one of those people who'd turn around and sue McDonald's for making her fat.

LOL! Thats true! I've never understood that. People CHOOSE to go there and elsewhere for fast food order all this crap then order a diet coke. Like the diet coke is going to help after you've just eaten two big macs and a super sized fries, and a pie/cookies/shake.

This seriously bothers me. I work at a minimum wage type job and who's to say that this couldn't happen to me? Or any of us? I'm sorry, but people are getting more and more f*cking ridiculous all the time. It's a g*ddamn sandwich! I don't care if the person spit in it...it's not worth potentially killing them. People are far too worried about themselves and never once think about the consequences. Whatever sentence this lady got isn't enough.

I can't imagine how ballistic that woman would have gone if they forgot her fries. She'll have those 10 years to think about what she did. Society has gone down the drain!

PMS can make a woman crazy.........but in all honesty not THAT crazy, you dont lose your sense of right from wrong......women and the lawyers that are moronic enough to represent them that use that as a defense need to be locked up. That's about as insane as that one guy that tried to use the Matrix as a defense for a murder(atleast I think it was murder....it was loopy all the same).

One more thing...

I don't know what she was bitching about? Don't you guys have the Big Extra there? Or is that just a McDonalds Canada creation?

As part of her punishment they should continuously force feed her Big Extras. Then she'll have all the mayo she wants.
