Snow and school cancelations.....

UGH! My university opened at 10 am on friday due to snow. My question to all of you is.......if classes start at 10......and your class say started at 930....you would assume class was canceled right??

I just got screwed over cause of this.....and wanted to hear what others would do....

Thanks:)

I would think it is safe to assume a 9:30 class would be cancelled if school opened at 10:00 if it was a 50 minute class like most of mine were. However, I remember the two day a week classes were an hour and 20 minutes long and the once a week classes were two hours and 25 minutes long. Probably those would just be shortened?

Krose, one would think would not one?

But when you deal with Acadameians, one never knows! (EGG HEADED MORONS).

They live in a different world until themselves!:(

Hell, I was in the Hospital one time, had to go home for bed rest only. Found out I was flunked in all courses. Went back and tried to fight it! Mentality was, well you did not drop passing! Da, How in the Hell could I!

Know what you are talking about!:(

But you know universities don't always operate on logic, right? I would've assumed that a 9:30 class would've been cancelled if the school didn't open til 10, too...and I'm guessing you're in good company.

umm, if school is closed until 10am, in my little mind that means school is closed..... like no classes no nothing before 10..... but hey, maybe thats just my logic..... ;)

Our University rarely closes, but they closed today - AFTER 3 pm. Jeez....

Oh and some of our professors have adopted a policy that if the main school districts in town are closed and it's really bad, then they won't be there and nor should we. But the University is generally open...which makes no sense because we walk outside farther and more than stupid kids in high school.
