I think that the state of Alaska, is pretty much a f*ck you to Canada. I have several hypotheises about this.

H1- Canada didn't have the money or something economical like borrowing deficiets and stuff and didn't buy Alaska from Russia. If so they probably thought we would screw up, since they based their constition on ours by doing the opposite of what we did to avoid civil war. But we didn't screw it up, well we did, but Alaska doesn't totally suck, so okay that hypothesis didn't test out so well lets move on.

H2- We bought it out from under you when you shoould have got it because you would have been more sensitive to Inuits and the enviornment and wouldn't have traped whales or spilled oil or anything. And it pisses you off that we have because you live in the DOMINION of Canada and this land borders it and not what was the U.S. until that time so you couldn't use Manifest Destinty in your country. Sorry Canada. You can have Alaska back. Its not like traveling there will be more diffucult than it is and when we visit our old state which you probably won't make a province of, at least not right away you'll call it something cool sounding, or break it up into smaller provinces. We don't need to the fight the Russians anymore (which is why you let us have it in the first place isn't, you knew how much we hated Russians.) You can have Alaska back, its better for Alaska that way. So if we stole it out form under you that's like saying "f*ck you, Canada" Sorry about that. You can have Alaska back. We're done with it.
