My Wish
 

Hello to all the lovely tri-deltas on the board. i just want to introduce my self. I’m Dana, a freshman at southern Illinois university in Carbondale. I’ve tried, unsuccessfully, to pledge the four national sororities here, tri-Sigma, Delta Zeta, Sigma Kappa, and AGD. But, twice I was rejected. *sigh* I have always know what was in my heart. The letters I have always longed to wear, are those of Tri-Delta. When I was visiting colleges, ten of the 15 I looked at had Tri-Deltas. I talked to many of the girls, I really seemed to click with them. All of you are so respectful and gracious! Never I ever met with such wonderful ladies!! But now I’ve picked to go here, at SIUC, where there is no Tri-Deltas. *sigh* (I picked SIUC because my major is Chemistry and they are one of a very few number of schools that I could specialize in Forensics.)

So, now I’m here. I have a wonderful boyfriend, we’ve been together since Feb. 14th 2003’. But I feel lonely. I wished I could have gone to a school with Tri-Deltas, so that I could have pledged. I can’t even bring them here, the other nationals aren’t at max, and haven’t been for a long time. What am I to do?

There is another poster on here, dnagirlatsiuc, who also has wanted to join a sorority at SIUC. Perhaps you should PM her and see if the two of you can begin a new chapter.

When were you elected Pike Dream Girl? Do the sorority members know you hold that title? I would think that would make you a very desirable PNM.
