Limp Bizkit being Sued (Again)

Limp Bizkit face Indonesian lawsuit
JAKARTA: Not unfamiliar with lawsuits, American rock band Limp Bizkit might face another one, this time from Indonesian promoter Original Production for canceling its performance in Bali on Friday.

In a release on Tuesday, Original stated that vocalist Fred Durst's fear of the security situation had caused the band to cancel a series of concerts in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, scheduled for this week and next.

Tommy Pratama from Original earlier told The Jakarta Post that the company was considering legal action as the contract stated that seven days notice must be given prior to the cancellation.

Known for its vocalist's bad boy persona, Limp Bizkit was sued earlier this year by fans, for leaving the stage after just 17 minutes of what was expected to be a 90-minute performance in a city near Chicago.

The suit also alleges that Durst let flow a tirade of sexually explicit and anti-gay insults to the crowd before challenging members of the audience to fight.

Another suit was made a couple of years back as a woman claimed Durst had thrown a microphone at her during a concert.-- JP

They haven't been the same since their first guitarist left the group.

I was just talking about this earlier tonight with a friend and we agree. When Wes Borland left, they went into the trashcan.

It's so sad, though. Everyone used to love them since they are from Jacksonville, but it's like they don't even want to claim them anymore.

Well, they have done it again. Limp Bizkit has cancelled their South African tour, which should have started in Sunday. Man, these guys are very unprofessional. I won't be suprise if promoters refuse to book them in the future.

Are they even a viable band anymore?? Do they tour? Record music??? Not that I'm disappointed to see them unravel. They are a travesty.

They just got done touring Europe. These guys are very very unprofessional. They cancelled the Indonesian tour because they believed there is a terrorist threat. Funny thing is that a month after what should be their show, Mariah Carey played. About 2 months later, Korn played there also. Nothing happen and everybody had a good time.

Look like the South African promoter is talking lawsuits. Counting Crows played here about 2 weeks ago. That was good time.

the way they're going, the band may not be around at all.

Why doesn't one of those dorky suits at Original Production take Bad ass Fred Durst on in a fight?

Oh wait, cause the dork would beat his "pacifist" ass.

When the lead of a Christian power band can kick your ass.....you know you're a wuss.
