reflecting
i was reading in another thread someone put something about how members actions reflect on the whole organization whether the actions are good or bad. this just made me think how proud i am to be a chi omega. i dont think ive ever read a post by a sister on this site that ive been embarassed by. i think we really live up to representing our letters well. we rock!!! sorry just something i was thinking about.

I would have to agree! I think our symphony is something all of us live by in real life and on here. I see time after time the quote "to be womanly always" and I think that stands for something. We aren't "girls" - we're women. We're above the pettiness and catty stuff. We rise to the occassion (and have in the past). We don't slander other sororities on here and support the panhellenic spirit.

Heather & Hootie...I agree. The most precious possesion we have is our name -- whether it be our family name or the name of our organization. Each & every thing we do does reflect on all of us -- and in this day and time of Internet chat -- not only just our own chapter, but also the entire Fraternity. Former S.H. Kirk Cocke used to mention the oft quoted saying "If I appear tall, it is because I stand on the shoulders of giants..." Well, there have been many Chi Omega giants & I do appreciate & feel a responsibility to live up to their expectations.

Heather- thanks for starting this thread. Your words couldn't be more true. All the posts I read from my sisters make me SO proud to be a Chi Omega.
