Help I'm Embarassed
 

I don't know what to do I'm so embarassed. I was expelled from the sorority. I just recently found out that it was posted on the website. A friend of mine saw my name I'm so embrassed I don't know what to do. I didn't want anyone to know this. I truely wanted to belong to Delta Sigma Theta so bad, now I feel like I have nothing to live for. My heart keeps beating and I'm shaking I don't know what to do I'm embarassed. How will I be able to live with myself and go on with my life when everybody knows that I am no longer a delta. Expelled is forever. I just don't know what to do...............................................

Oh my. You feel you have nothing to live for? Wow. I need time to think on this.

I don't know you or what you are about, but I pray that you have a supportive family and circle of friends to help you through this embarrassment.

Any MEMBERS of DELTA SIGMA THETA have anything else to say? You can also PM me with questions or comments, SORORS!!! In other words, if you are NOT a member of DST, please keep your comments to yourself.

I really don't know what to say. One part me feels like this post is not ture or a prank or something to rile us up,
but if it is ture, then my heart goes out to you. There are ways to address your situtation with our Grand Chapter, but please PM me for those info.
And (soror CT4 please delete my post if it shouldn't be here) you will not be expelled with out prior knowledge, that is why I think dstnomore is faking!

She didn't say she recently found out she was expelled, she said she recently found out it was posted on the website. To be expelled, the infraction had to have happened multiple times--with previous sanctions, or it had to be so horrendous that it did not deserve a second chance. And there would be an appeal process of which she would of been informed at the time of the expulsion. So there should be no need to offer her any information via PM as to how to address it.

With that said I hope this is a hoax because otherwise I have NO sympathy for the poster.

yea this is a little deep..

hmmm I believe one of your "friends" posted about you on another greek site a week or so ago... but were you barred or expelled, because at first you said you truely wanted to belong to Delta then you said you are a no longer a Delta :confused:

how could you not know, it was a hot topic a year or so ago when it was announced?

I don't mean to sound cruel or insensitive (although it may often come across that way) but for my Sorority to expel you, either you or "Sorors" you were involved with did something that goes against what we as Delta's stand for. I know some Sorors that were suspended for doing things..and they must pay a fine to be reinstated..but expulsion means the behavior was pretty severe. I can't feel sorry for you, because it's the women that do these things (whatever it was you were expelled for) that give not only Delta, but all BGLO's a bad reputation.

I can only hope that you took some life lessons away from the situation.

And also, just for about as long as I remember DST has "outted" "Sorors" on the website by name and chapter (a practice that I'm glad we do)...so I'm not sure why this is a surprise to you.

Considering that the last expulsion occured in 2002 and there was only one, I think you just outted yourself. And if that is you, I find it interesting that 18 other of that chapter's sorors were only suspended until April of this year with a $500 fine which means that you must have either been the ringleader or the most vicious.

You mean the poster who said her "friend" was barred from membership but her "friend" didn't know why? LOL
