Exorcist Sequel
 

I am a big fan of the original Exorcist movie, and in case you didn't know, there is an Exorcist IV film, called Exorcist: Dominion, or some such. It is basically a Prequel, following Fr. Merrin on his first Exorcism in Africa.

I have been following this film's production as best as I could on the internet, but I have just become more dismayed as the months passed.

First, I heard that they were looking to cast a young African American actor in the role of the possessed African boy. So I was like SWEET! Black folks in the Exorcist, that's hot. But then, they changed the casting call to young Latino/Brazillian boys or something like that.

Liam Neeson was supposed to star in it, but then he wasn't.

And now, the latest news is that they fired the director because his final cut wasn't scary and gory enough. Here is the article from BBC NEWS:

This movie was supposed to have been out by now. Why won't the movie just come out? :(

This is news to me. I doubt it if the sequel can live to the original. It's a shame they cancel the project.

They need to stop with these horribly terrible scary movies. :(

Well that stinks I love scary movies. Of course the original was awesome! I dont think they could ever live up to that one but who knows.
