Badges on Ebay
 

If anyone is interested, there are 2 pearl badges currently up for auction on Ebay. I see a Theta bidding on one of them, no bids on the other. Our HQ and several alums keep a close eye on Ebay badges and do our best to keep them in Theta hands. Don't worry about them!

Would anyone here like to know when our badges are up for auction on Ebay? I HATE that they are there, but better that WE snap them up when they are for sale.

I would like to know............but usually I cant afford them :(

Well, sometimes you can get a bargain. Another badge was added this evening, a plain gold badge. Don't know if it is 10k or 14k.

grrrrrrrr!! I hate it when our badges are put on ebay. I hate to see any organizations badges up there. I was cruising through one night, and this guy was selling 5 different fraternity badges..........it really ticked me off, because I knew that guy wasnt in any of them most likely and was just trying to make a buck, and I believe he was sellign all five together as a set, which i found to be just wrong....it's all just wrong.

I understand there are collectors of theta badges and other fraternity badges ou there that belong to their respective groups, but why put them on ebay ? why not sell them privately or something?

Ticks me off, too. All we can do is try to buy & retain our own badges when we can. Unfortunately, if the original owner of the badge did not care enough to make appropriate arrangements for this special piece, then I can't really blame the pin collectors.
