VU fraternity to start after school program
BY AZURE COLLIER
Times Staff Writer VALPARAISO -- The members of Sigma Phi Epsilon have worked hard to get rid of that "Animal House" stigma of fraternity life. The fraternity is a designated Valparaiso University Sexual Assault Advocacy and Facilitative Education (SAAFE) house. Its members participate in a number of community service activities and have won awards for their efforts. Now, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon are taking their mission even further. They're inviting children to be a part of their house through a new after school program. Read the Rest of the Story |
Wonderful idea!!!
Michael Jackson isn't a Sigma Phi Epsilon, is he? |
Nice
Just wanted to give a big hell yeah to the brothers at Valpo. Seeing stuff like this is one of the reasons I'm so proud to be a Brother of the Golden Heart. Keep up the good work.
No, Michael Jackson is NOT a Sig Ep. In Phi, Sigep653 |

That is absolutely wonderful! I teach fifth grade in a middle school and the area as a whole is very low income. Some of my children (especially my boys) would greatly benefit from a program of this sort where they could have a positive male role model. It makes me so happy to read things like this!
