Together even though you don't want it
 

Here's a question-
Anyone here ever felt themself getting back together with an ex even though they totally didn't want to??? Like, you're watching it happen from the outside and feel powerless to stop it?? Or maybe you're just in a relationship that you have no desire to be in?

What did you do? Were you just being stupid or were your fears justified?? Did you wind up together again??

Just shit I'm pondering on a gray day in Missouri~~~~

Uhhhhhh, I don't understand getting back with an ex if you dont want to. If you dont want to get back with your ex, stop talking to him or seeing him. The more you hang out with or talk to him....the more likely you are to get back together. You'll eventually see past all the bad stuff that you broke up with him over and start dating him again. A chat here and there is ok, but if you think its best you two dont date.....you dont need to be in much contact with him. Basically if you're seeing yourself back with him but you dont wanna go, that means you are still in love with him and probably are holding something against him that he may have did to you that you didnt like. Am I right? You need to get out and go do stuff to get your mind off of him, find a rebound guy. Sitting around thinking about this situation too much will lead to depression.

Just a tip- the rebound person is never around for any length of time...in most cases. That said, make the most of it. It'll help you get over your ex.

I had this happen a while back. My ex and I broke up after I changed schools. We both wanted space and being at the same school wasn't working for me. After a month or so we were still good friends but found ourselves back together even after we both talked about not wanting it anymore. I think it was more of where our comfort level was. We were used to being together and it was hard on both of us. We did this for almost a year until I finally found someone else. I don't regret it but I know at the time I didn't want it to happen all over again.
