i think it is really good so far. i liked hilary duff's performance. britney was awesome. i am so happy that steven curtis chapman won in the inspirational category. it is so hard to believe that he has been a favorite of mine since i was 9 years old.

I haven't seen it yet, and I'm kind of -- no, make that HELLA p*ssed that they preempted Alias for this dreck.

I think maybe I'm just too old to appreciate the AMAs now. ;)

britney is really overrated.....

so far the performances have been okay...missed some but the couple i've seen have only been okay...

yeah i def have to agree that i am not impressed with Clay...

on the show they were suppose to sing certain songs.. which i dont think is a very good judgement on them..

kelly ended up doing really good i think after the show.. good choice in music, performances, etc.

i think that clay's new song really isnt any good..

oh yeh and i thought that the AMA's was rather bad.. there were only a couple of good performances :(

britney is overrated...she tends to lip sync alot and is more of a performer than a singer. even she said that her voice is just
'okay'

i say go clay b/c he just won an ama and has only been 'out' for a little while....i don't know how he could be overrated when people think that he's just good for broadway, etc, etc.

but we can agree to disagree....it's all good! :) i don't try to force my opinions on anyone...

clay is overrated case american idol is overrated. the show is fun while it is on, but after it is over, i wish it all would just go away

Music Awards are all over rated.

it didn't start here until after midnight, so needless to say i didn't watch it. although, i'm not sure if i'm all that upset about it. all awards shows are starting to seem the same to me.

I miss it last night. I did read in the newspaper that Luther Vandross did win a couple of awards on the AMA. that was cool considering what he has gone through.

britney needs to start singing. lip-synching is not cool.

go clay!!! i was SO happy for him. he absolutely deserves that award. i only wish he had won best male singer as well.

for those of you who want american idol to go away after the show...well...that was the point of the show--to "find" a new star. so now he and ruben are here!

hillary duff should stick to acting.

I wasn't too impressed with the show. Hilary Duff was awful. What was that "the girl can rock" song all about? Ashanti wasn't that great either. That fake rain was lame. I kinda liked Britney's performance. The remix for "Me Against the Music" is cool. Clay's song has grown on me. The funniest moment was when Jimmy Kimmel asked Justin if he felt any "blacker" in Germany, lol.

I don't like the fact that Britney lip syncs but usually she's dancing her a$$ of so I can understand why she does sometimes, though. However, at the AMAs, she wasn't really dancing hard core... it wasn't all that great. Ruben wasn't that great either. Hilary Duff-- what was she doing?! She kept running around the stage, and it looked awkward.
