NEW YORK - Her image just keeps veering further and further from innocent.

An apparently all-grown-up Britney Spears says it’s good for girls to masturbate and talk about it.

Spears, who has just released a song called “Touch of My Hand,” tells People magazine that women should “make themselves happy.”

“Touch of My Hand,” an ode to masturbation, is featured on her new album “In the Zone.”

Spears also says it’s a positive thing for girls not to depend on guys.

“Being alone you really start to figure out what makes you happy,” she says. “And then you’re able to give more to other people.

“When you turn yourself on, that really is what turns the guy on. So just make yourself happy.”

No doubt the music video will be interesting. :p :p

I was watching VH1's True Spin and they dispelled the rumor that Turning Japanese was about masturbation. I can't remember what they said it was about though.....

i have heard the song 'touch of my hand'. it sounds really awesome. it has a cool beat. i am not ashamed to say that i cannot wait for this album!!!!

They said it was about being in love with someone so much that you turn into someone totally different. The guys from the band said it was not about masturbation.
