Never too Early...Convention '04?
 

Who all is going to the July, 2004 Convention in Tampa??

I'm going! woo hoo! I had to miss the one in Oxford so I swore I'd get to the next one. We're actually making a family trip out of it; hubby will take the girls to Busch Gardens and find other things for them to do while I'm doing Delta Zeta stuff.

I hope to meet some of you there!!! :)

I'm planning to be there, also! :D I went to Oxford last year with one of my alumnae chapter sisters. She's now living in Florida, so we're planning to get together and have a girls' weekend again since Convention isn't too far from her home.

I was completely planning on attending, but now I'm going to school in the summer so I don't know if I'm going to be able to go!!! :eek:
I'm really upset about it. What are the dates again? Does any of it fall on a weekend?

I am going...especially since it's only 2.5 hours away!!! :) :)

Brianne, you're so lucky! I'm waiting for the day we have convention in Washington, DC or someplace close like that.

Technically, I should be going.. our chapter President can't go. but I can't either.. working at summer camp will do that too ya! :(

I was planning to go, but then found out that Mr. dzrose93 and I are expecting a little DZ legacy. :D Unfortunately, a long road trip is a bit out of the question for a woman 7 1/2 months preggo. I hope everyone has a blast this year! I had a great time in Oxford, and am really sorry to be missing Convention '04.

I REALLY REALLY wanted to go, at least for the weekend, but I just can't swing it financially :( I'm sure y'all will have a wonderful time and I will be very jealous! ;)

I'm going too!!! Our CCD can't go, so since I'm VP i'm going with our pres. We're excited, but also a little nervous cause we're flying all the way from Newark Airport. We're from the Xi Iota chaper at Muhlenberg College. Has anyone been to one of these before? The more I read the pamphlets the more nervous I get! The dress codes seem so strict and I don't want to show up in the wrong thing.... I've heard horror stories of a past president of my chapter who had to put white tape on the little black stripe on her skirt in order to be allowed in .... so if anyone has any advice for me, like what is "summer business casual" and what do they mean by "semi-formal" cause all my dresses are spaghetti strap or halter (and I know they said no halter tops!) .... I know this seems silly, but I don't want to represent my chapter is a negative way! .... despite all my silly butterflies, I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone!
