Cappacino machines

Does anyone own a cappacino machine? I'm thinking of buying one but I have no idea what to look for. I've seen some cheap ones for $50-$100 and others that are over $900. Are the cheap ones a good value?

No...it's really not the same. My friend had one he bought for 200 and it blew. Plus it was really weird that a guy in college had one then.

Do you mean an espresso machine? Because cappacino is espresso and milk right?

yes a cappucino is espresso and half steamed milk, half foam, however a number of machines now have the espresso part as well as a wand to steam the milk. I recommend looking at Starbucks, they have a range of prices and the machines are guaranteed. Sorry, had to throw in that promo, I work there. If/When you go, ask the barista's to help you pick one out, they should be able to ask you what you are needing or looking for and help you pick out the best machine for you.

Okay, I am not trying to be rude, or be a know-it-all. I could care less about knowing this... but, since you are the resident expert of coffee, what is the difference between an espresso machine and a cappucino machine? Isn't cappucino a drink you make ON an espresso machine? B/c, if it is, I have one, if not, I have an espresso machine. Still confused after your last post...

I was going to recommend the brand that I have, but didn't want to sound like a fool. I have a Pavoni (it does have a milk steamer) and it is awesome. I only use it like twice a year, but when I do I like it. I got it on clearance at Williams Sonoma...

Yeah, I guess I do mean espresso machine...my bad. I guess this shows how little I know. :)

Thanks for the tips.
