a greek store in the NE area..

I am thorougly frustrated right now.

Does anyone know of a greek store in the New England area?? Specifically: Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Conneticut, New York (on the conneticut side), Vermont. okay anywhere remotely close to my area I am willing to traverse to.

my only specification: I want this greek store to be able to make me a lettered shirt for my little and have paddles (and associated paddle accessories.)

HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE :(

University Spirit in the University of Rhode Island Emporium makes custom letters shirts and clothing. They also sell the supplies for paddles. As far as shirts go, the selection has improved over the past few years but they are on the expensive side. You can bring in your own shirts or fabric if you like as well. I have found good paddle supplies at A.C. Moore craft stores (and they are cheaper, too).

Why not make the T-shirt/sweatshirt yourself? Fusible web and calico or plaid fabric are available at any quilt shop or fabric store (even Wal-Mart), and plain shirts are available at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. The letters could be machine or hand-appliqued.

You could try Michaels or Hobby Lobby for wooden paddles.

P.S. Does your sig line mean that mean that Kappa Delta Phi is affiliated with a national organization? With whom?

we do make our own letters- quite often- but when the new girls get in we all get them the same uniform letters... and we have found online ordering is just a hassle, and they come out different than we want.

we are national affiliated sorority, which means we differ from kappa delta phi national fraternity. we are a national sorority with a national board and lots of chapters.. :) our boys are also national, with their own national board... we have a convention yearly with both the males and females meeting up after our individual meetings for joint meetings. :)

Just a heads up-University Spirit is not that great concerning paddles. I could never find all the letters that I needed. AC Moore would be a better bet for those.

Syracuse had a bunch of stores that sold Greek items. You could go in, pick out a clothing item and then pick out the letters. 15 minutes later you could walk out with letters.
