Ok boys (and girls, potentially)--which do you like best? I'm getting my boyfriend one of the following.

Unfortunately, the large ones are a bit out of my price range... :( I've finally decided to make the big jump and get him a badge. I think we're at that level now. :D But comments are welcome. I really like #1 but I'm not sure what y'all will think. I'd kinda like to know what guys would most like to wear.

#1 is a good choice. I like that one the best as well.

i agree go with the first one. thats a great idea and a wonderful present. but i like your choice.

I like #4 best! #1 comes in a close second though.

I like #3, but that's just like the one I wore while in college. :D

Pikas rule!

If you ever go to a Pike conference, the vast majority of brothers with jeweled badges have a version of #1. I really have no idea why this is, but it is definitely the preferred version of the badge.

I have #2...I chose it because the Garnet more closely represents the Garnet and Gold. I had a really hard time choosing between that and #4. Wait...maybe I have #4 and really liked #2.

The other thing to consider is that you can get a version of #3 with diamonds instead of pearls. It is more expensive (I believe), but it is by far the most gorgeous of all the badges. Actually, you may be able to replace the pearls (which have nothing to do with PiKA ritual, history, etc.) with diamonds (much closer representation of PiKA) in any version. If you can afford that...by all means do it.

I really like #4. I think it is nice with out looking to bling bling. I like how the jew. are spread out. I know that he will love it. Your an awesome girlfriend.

got to go with #1 or #4 cant go wrong either way. you really cant go wrong with any of them plus the thought is what counts and that is the most thoughtful gift i think a pike could recieve.

Which one did you end up getting him? What did he think of it? :D

Haha, I'm so indecisive! I ended up getting him something totally different. There is still Valentine's Day and his graduation, so I might get it then... I really do want to get one for him one of these days.

When I get it, I think it will be #2 or #4.

Ok, another update: I am 90% sure I am getting him #2 for Valentine's Day. :)

Ok, I am definately getting number two. I am like on the checkout page right now. My question is--what should I engrave on the back? You can get 9 characters. Should I do just his initials, chapter, and year? Or should I put both of our initials on it since it's from me? I've seen both.

I just bought the boy #2, engraved with: ZLB f SCS
