Dress Question!! Need Help!

I'm in need of guidance right now dealing with something all women has asked of themselves.

Should I wear the same dress to formal that I did last year??

Here's the deal...Dusty's TKE Homecoming is next saturday and I'm wondering if I should wear my nice black-sorta-tango style dress. It's a halter top with a plunging neckline with the dress hem that is long in the back and comes above the knee in the front in a "V" shape. (it "drapes" itself). I wore it last year, btu now since I'm low on cash and have lost some weight I wondering if I should wear it or not. If not, I'm borrowing my sister's black dress (basic black dress with one shoulder, knee length).
Ack..I need some advice.

borrow the dress from your sister. you will totally kick yourself some day when you are looking at pics and can't remember which year they were from!

I think either would work, which ever one makes you feel better when you look at yourself will allow you to have more confidence and therefore have a lot more fun!
(P.S.) I sell formals and wedding gowns for a living!)

The two GLO"s i'm in that have formals, i'd wear the same formal each semester to respective formals, but i wouldnt wear the same dress to formals in the same group. I did that once with Theta...a year between.......i felt weird about it.......but there wasnt anythign i could do on short notice (my dresses have to be taken in usually two inches in straps and have about 7 inches cut off the bottom). My advice would be not to wear the same dress if you have time to get another dress and have it altered if need be.

Borrow your sister's dress... you can make it your own with great jewelry/accessories... my real sister has borrowed my dresses for fraternity formals that I've worn to fraternity formals.

You know I'm obligated to answer any question pertaining to clothes/fashion/fabric care/whatever, so here goes... ;)

1. Ask any of your friends who are the same size as you if they have anything you could wear. I borrowed my last formal dress from my best friend.

2. If that doesn't turn up satisfactory results, borrow the dress from your sister IF you like it as well as yours. Wearing the same dress again isn't really a huge no-no (hey, I've done it...er...once...or twice...or...a lot :p), though...if you like yours and think it looks better, then wear it.

Have fun!
