Running for Chapter Life....HELP! =)
 

Hey ladies!

So I'm "running" for Chap. Life of my chapter and am wondering if anyone has a good idea for a letter to write in and/or ideas. We've been having a lot of trouble with socials and sisterhood activities so I want to show that I can turn everything around. Also I need good ideas for Risk Management. Does anyone have anything they can help me on??

Ooh, the position of Chapter Life is a big one! But I have no doubt you'll do a great job. I'm running for Panhellenic Delegate and my "game plan" is to just be real. I'm not going to say things that I think people might want to hear - what I want is a better representation of the greek system on my college campus. I want my sorority to be well-percieved and respected.
My suggestion would be think about what you want to do. I know you want to work hard to make a difference based on the fact that you're running for Chapter Life. But make a list of the things you want to accomplish and narrow them down to 3 or 4 that are very, very important to you. Then provide lots of detals and present it to someone you're close with and has a lot of authority within the house. Be real with her and she'll very likely be happy to write you a letter of recommendation.
Thats just what I think ... do whatever you want in order to get the position. I wish you lots of luck, sister!

I think that if you're running for chapter life, you need to write something that will prove to the girls in your chapter that you know your stuff about risk management. Read your CARE manual and know it inside and out!!! Present some tentative plans for a sisterhood retreat, and have an "outline" of ideas for the social chair to follow when planning social events.
