social ideas
 

I am a member of the social commitee for my chapter and all of our socials are completely dry. I was just wondering if anyone had some ideas for socials that we could do that would be fun.

An Awesome Mixer!!!
 

The Most fun mixer that I have done yet, ha you're going to laugh but it was awesome, anyways was a "Trailer Park Wedding." We did it with SAE. It was at their house. We all dressed up. Lol what I wore was messed up jeans, a plaid collared button up shirt with the sleeves ripped off and it was tied right above the waist. I carried around a baby and a bottle of coke in a brown paper bag. I also had a nasty looking hat and some ugly teeth. People dressed up like they were pregnant, beaten, etc. Anyways we had the wedding outside on the volleyball court in the sand. They pulled out all of the couches and that is what we sat in. The bride was pregnant. Anyways I know it sounds silly but it was so much fun! I mean everybody dressed up and it was a riot. I reccomend it if your chapter has some outgoing, not caring silly girls!

Heyyy....one of our mixers was a lazertag event and it was sooo much fun, also, what about a pajama date party, or just funny theme date parties?? Just some ideas? :)

Paint Ball
 

I'm from the "Nu"est chapter at Shorter, and we just had an awesome mixer with the Chi Phi Boys. We played paintball, and it was great! We played Ten-things-I-hate-about-You-Style (no guns). Everyone had a great time getting messy (Chis against Phis of course!). We ended our battle with pizza. It sounds like a simple idea, but I think everyone had fun.

that sounds really cool but what do you mean by Ten-things-I-hate-about-You-Style ... can you explain a little more?

In the movie Ten Things I Hate About You, Julia Stiles and hottie Heath Ledger have a paintball date. Only they didn't use guns and CO2s that hurt so much! They used paintball balloons or literal "paint balls." We did something similar, using sponges. Dip your sponge in paint and fire away!!!
