calling all chi omegas
 

ok ladies, all of my chapters mixer ideas have busted..for the semester, the fraternities didn't like them, the weather isn't suitable, what have you.....so, does anyone have any ideas for a good dry part of a mixer? one of them is a holiday mixer and i'm racking my brain to think of something that's never been done in our chapter before....can anyone help?:confused:

We've had a spaghetti feed with the Lambda Chi's before. With the Pikes we simply went ice skating and then back to their hall for games and such. I'm not really good with mixer ideas, but I'd suggest bowling, ice skating, indoor putt-putt golf, laser tag, or even a trip to a Dave and Busters type place.

To be honest, my first mixer is this Saturday, so I have ZERO experience with this, but I found a fun website through Delta Chi that is mostly ideas (and you said you had a theme) but I think that a lot of the activities could be tailored or built on. What is the theme you have? Maybe that'll help some of us get the creative thoughts going! :) Either way, it's a fun site, and you should check it out!

wow, awesome site! it gave me soo many ideas, so tomorrow i'm going to take them to the fraternity's social chair and set it all up. thanks cardinal;)

Some things we did:

We had a Graffitti Social. It was lots of fun. Everyone wore white shirts and you went around signing everyone's shirts. It was a good mingling tool.

We also did Draft A Date. Army theme. Everyone dresses in camo.

Hawaii Chi O- went to a beach bar.
