a very positive stolen thread
 

i was playing around on here earlier today and i was checking out other GLO threads and came accross an ADPI thread and thought this is what true sisterhood is about. it was entitled, " all i need to know i learned from my Alpha Delta Pi sisters." So i want to start a thread of ....

"all i need to know i learned from my Alpha Phi sisters" add your thoughts and make a positive sisterly chain of what our sorority and sisters to mean to us.


I will start it out....

i learned that paitence is a virtue when good things happen ( My initiaition!) SAX you can attest to my paitence level before initiation :D hehehe

I learned that chocolate cake is one of the unknown food groups. :D

I've learned that no matter how crappy life is and how much you *think* everyone hates you, there is always someone there that cares a lot about you and would do anything to help you feel better.

You were very anxious, but it was absolutely fine. :) We were all anxious and ready to be initiated. :)

I learned that no matter what happens, you will always have a select few of sisters who will be there until the end to support you.

hi learned that no matter how much you think you won't click with someone it isn't til you realize that you are sisters that do you realize that you have so much in common. I also realized that no matter what you will always have someone to depend on. I also learned some very funny things about myself and about being a leader. You need to learn to pick your battles and to listen everyone... no matter if they disagree with you or not they are still your sisters. I've also learned that when times are rough the best thing to do is to be honest with yourself and your sisters and it will always be for the best.

Everything I've learned.....

i've learned the good, the bad and the ugly. We all have our days. One thing I learned was that no matter what time it is, your sisters will be there to pick you up really late at night. Despite any and all drama that happens in a house, you'll meet your girls who will be your bridesmaids and god mothers! Those are the lifers to me! I've learned to be vocal and strong about any opinions and not to be a follower...thats what makes the memories...diversity and unique qualities!
