I Hate At&t!
Whether you agree with what is going on in the Middle East or not, this sucks!
My husband is stationed in Baghdad, and was really excited when AT&T built a 'phone bank' in the MWR (Morale, Welfare, & Recreation) area of his barracks. That is until he went to use the phone! His phone card that I had just charged with 1000 minutes was chopped down to a mere 80! Previously, they had been using Company cell phones, that each platoon shared. The minutes were, of course, chopped for overseas charges, but 1000 minutes was comprable to a little under 600. I'm pissed, because AT&T made a big deal about how they were making an effort to be there for the troops! WHATEVER! They are totally screwing them over! We're now, basically, paying $1 per minute! I've emailed them several times, and they are ignoring me! Go figure...I just wanted to share how this company is screwing over the troops! I'm a little pissed, if you couldn't tell! |
That sucks. :(
They're also getting rid of some of the email/phone stations, from what I heard from my friend stationed at Baghdad International Airport. |
Ugh, the same thing happened to me...
My fiance is stationed in Japan right now, and a 1,000 minute phone card from Sam's ends up being only 80 overseas. It pisses me off everytime I hear that stupid recorded voice telling me how many minutes I have left. |
