Chapter Closure...question...

My chapter, Rho Delta/UT El Paso, closed about 3 years ago. I wasn't in town when it happened. Boy, talk about one of the toughest pieces of news I've ever gotten. My big - who's actually my sister in law - wasn't there either so we missed out on being able to see the house one last time and retrieve a piece of history.

I'm just curious - have any of you ever gone through this? It seems now that it is virtually impossible to get together/stay in touch with any of my sisters. It really took a lot out of us.

Luckily, there's an awesome chapter at NMSU (thanks to those of you who gave me links - I'm in touch with them now) so I'll be able to get involved with them. However, it just won't be the same to me.

Emmary, one good way to keep up with Sisters is through the National Chi Omega website. With your member number (found on the back of The Eleusis, you can go to http://www.chiomega.com/everyday and go to the section -- I think it's called: Find a Chi O. Another option would be to contact the HQ and request a printout of Rho Delta alumnae (you can specify from a certain geographical area or certain pledge classes, etc.) This is one good reason why it's important to keep your address current with National.

I think staying in touch is a challenge for all chapters!
