I have a ?
Hey! I was wondering what alpha delta pi
was like on your campuses. Is it a big sorority or small? Are they like really cool, smart, popular? Any info is appreciated. |
Hey Cyan,
I was just wondering why you had such an interest in knowing the reps of some of the houses? I'm a SigKap, so of course I read the postings for my house, and now I see you are asking about ADPi. How come? Your question is really interesting. Just like Sigma Kappa, ADPi is larger and more popular on some campuses and not others. At my school they are one of the smallest houses (by number) and are not very popular. However, looking at websites from other schools they seem to be just as popular as some of the more traditionally larger, more popular houses. |
Cyan, do you see a pattern? All fraternities and sororities are huge and popular and great on some campuses, and not so big and bad on others. EACH CHAPTER IS DIFFERENT! It's up to the individual members who joins, not the national HQ. They don't have a checklist to see if the new member is popular, skinny, fat, ugly, pretty, athletic, slutty, annoying, or snobby.

Cyan - Corbin is absolutely right. Every national GLO is #1 on one campus and #27 on another, somewhere in this country. (and this all depends on what your rating scale is and who's doing the asking and answering!) A national reputation is usually a good guide but that is it. You have to look at the chapters at the school you are considering, and see where you feel at home.

On my campus, ADPi is the best sorority. They have an excellent group of girls, and are very active, both socially and in theit philanthropy.

Just some helpful advice. It shouldn't matter what other people view a particular house as. You should rush and then find where you feel the most at home. Get to know the girls and see who you could brush your teeth next to for the next four years. I know that might sound cheesy, but think about it.
