Having a slight problem with room mate
 

I am having a problem with my room mates. I live with three other people one of my room mates is my sorority sister, the other is her fiance, and the other is a girl that use to be room mates with my sorority sister.

Well the problem is my sorority sister and her fiance want to get get a cat. Me and the other girl do not want a cat in the apartment that we all rent from. The lease states that if caught with a pet the manager can evict us from our apartment. I do not have any where else to live if we were to get kicked out. According to the lease we would still have to pay rent for the place because we signed the lease. I do not have a problem with cats because I have one at home with my parents. The only problem that I have is geting evicted.

My sister and her fiance are currently not speaking to us but I can not take a chance of getting kicked out of my apartment.

What would you do?

In all honesty, if they get a cat without your and/or your other roommate's approval, tell the manager. Or threaten them by saying that you will tell the manager. (hey, I know it sounds childish, but at least your covering your own...) If they do not respect not only your and your other roommate's wishes, plus the "rules" by not having a cat, then actions need to be taken.

And if all else fails, move to Cali! I've got a few couches... hehe ;)
