ACK! last minute interview!
 

Anyone ever have to rush to an interview at the drop of a hat?

I applied for a part time, project-based law clerk position this morning- sent my resume and letter via email at 11:41. My phone rings at 12:37, asking if I can come in for an interview.

I have an interview at 2:30, downtown. Less than two hours to get changed, find a writing sample, and get down there and find the place! Not to mention that i have 12,000 other things to get done today.

ARGH!

Thanks everyone! Off to brave the pouring rain, screwed up bus schedules, and crazy downtown construction and traffic!

Happened to me once. I had an interview scheduled for a Tuesday, but they called me on Thursday and asked me to come in that afternoon. I had to go out and buy a suit (it was my first interview) and get all my stuff together, it was ridiculous. Turns out they already hired someone for the position and rather than just telling me that they bumped up my interview so the guy wouldn't have to stretch out the process into the next week :rolleyes:

The good thing is, though, that your resume must have knocked their socks off!! Good Luck!
