Need ideas for Semi-Formal
 

Hello everyone. I am on my chapter's Social committee and we're starting to think of ideas for our annual Semi-Formal. Last year we had it at a Comedy Club, which was a lot of fun but it could be improved on.

Anyone out there have any good ideas that have went well in the past? I'd like it to have a theme this year, so if anyone has good suggestions PLEASE let me know ASAP!

One year we had it at a country club and the following year was at a restaurant banquet center. We didn't necessarily have a theme or anything. I"m drawing a blank on themes..the only ones I can come up with are things like:

Egyptian (after all, the sphinx is our national mascot)
Everlasting Impressions
Time in a Bottle
Forever Tonight
Reflecting Back

We've had a sit down dinner with appetizers beforehand at the country club and then a buffet dinner at the banquet center.
