You know, this really sucks. I love his music. He is not that well known, but he wrote some beautiful songs.

If anyone knows his music, they'll be heartbroken.

I'm really sad :(

last night at the BNL concert steve page dedicated their song "war on drugs" to him. You could tell it was really hard for steve to sing the song considering the circumstances. you could see him choking back tears throughout the song..

very sad indeed.

I know his music. It's beautiful. It's terrible to see someone with so much talent commit suicide.

I've never heard of him.

He has a few songs on the Good Will Hunting soundtack. I've you've ever seen that, you've heard some of his music.

In Royal Tenenbaums, when Luke Wilson is shaving, Elliott's "Needle in the Hay" is playing.

I made reference to his passing yesterday on my LiveJournal. It's terribly sad, but after having followed him since before "Good Will Hunting," it's not terribly surprising.

My thoughts go out to his family, friends, and live-in girlfriend. :(
