You know what I wish greekchat had? Private messaging!

I got on greekchat and there are 2 other adpis surfing the message board and I was thinking I wish I could just click on their names and talk to them. I know theres the chatroom but nobody uses it.

You mean private messaging like AIM? Because we can send PM's back and forth, it's just not like being able to talk back and forth at the same time. :)

Maybe we should set a time that would be good for a few of us to chat? Say that we set Wednesdays at 9 eastern or whenever - that would be a time when at least a couple of us would be in the chat room, and we could go from there.

Do you think that would work? Would someone like to be the Chat Room Coordinator?

Maybe we could set up chat room coordinators depending on the days of the week, that way we could have sisters in the chat room at all times? I for one would love to help out, it just depends on my schedule for the week, based on events going on at night and schoolwork.

But, if others are up for it, I can volunteer one or two nights a week to "coordinate" the chatroom! :)

Not trying to butt into your forum, but KD has a weekly chat on Sunday nights at 10pm EST, in a tripod chatroom on the site that an alumna runs (kdonline). I hate the format, maybe someday we'll switch.
But this would be really easy to do if you found another chat room somewhere, or had someone that had everyone on their AIM buddy list.

We have sisters from all over the world join in the chat, it's really interesting and fun.

I would definately suggest contacting Annie (kdonline) for advice!
