Scary Movie 3
 

I enjoyed the first one.

I didn't enjoy the second one as much, it was way too corny.

But, I am looking forward to the third one since they are doing THE RING parody.

These movies are beyond horrible. I suggest watching a real movie, like the LOTR trilogy films. I am a huge Tolkien fan, so when the movies came out, I was very cautious to say I liked them. But, they are beautiful films. The DVD Extended Edition is coming in November, and that is what I am excited for!! I guess this is an odd response to the Scary Movie thread, but I HATED the other "Scary Movies", and vowed never to see another one... The idea died w/ Scream 1, you know? Oh well, The Ring was pretty freaky though... Sorry to go off topic.. Felt like ranting.

my thoughts..

scary movie 1 was hilarious.

they rushed the second one to profit from the success of the first and it was absolutely horrible.

the third one actually looks really funny.

to suggest lord of the rings as a better option then scary movie 3 is pretty absurd. its like i ask for a steak and you give me a piece of chocolate cake. both are good but not really in the same category. you can't compare apples and oranges. you go to see parody movies not to see a cinematic masterpiece but to see some mindless entertainment.

I saw the trailer of Scary Movie 3 and it was hilarious!

The trailer for 3 looks really funny!! I hated 2 though. Thought it was terrible.

The Lord of the rings are great movies but I totally different type of entertainment

I can't wait for The Others parody when Michael Jackson is under the sheet!!!!

Just an opinion

The ONLY reason they even made Scary Movie 2 was to cash in on the success of the original.

Hence Bad Boys 2 so many yrs after the fact, as well as the Sixteen Candles sequel that's supposed to be made, and American Wedding (2 wasn;t that bad)

sigh.........Running out of ideas, eh Hollywood?

Don't worry, as long as the masses prefer mindless violence, stunts instead of plot, and the same love story cliches we've been seeing for 20 yrs, you'll always make some money.

I'll probably watch it cause the bros will drag me to see it.
